Rüdesheim am Rhein was first settled by the Celts and is now a town well known for winemaking. The town's main attractions include a number of castles, a Gothic tower and half-timbered aristocratic buildings. Rüdesheim's main road, located in the center of the Old Town, comes alive during the summer months with live bands and music.
